 Cali’s Courage Foundation was built from our family’s journey and a deeply personal promise: to help ensure that families affected by Williams syndrome feel seen, supported, and never alone. We understand that your trust matters. We are committed to operating with integrity, using every contribution responsibly, and being transparent about our leadership, finances, policies, and impact.

Every donation helps advance our mission to create greater hope, resources, and support for children and families affected by Williams syndrome.

Contributions support four core areas:

• Family Medical & Travel Grants - Helping families manage eligible expenses associated with specialized medical care, including travel, lodging, and other essential needs.
• Williams Syndrome Research - Supporting research that expands understanding of Williams syndrome and helps improve care, treatment, and long-term outcomes.
• Therapy & Development Support - Helping families access therapy, developmental resources, adaptive tools, and other services that support each child’s individual needs.
• Family Education & Williams Syndrome Programs - Providing educational resources, community programming, and opportunities that help families feel informed, connected, and supported.

Donations may also support the responsible administrative and operational expenses required to deliver these programs, protect the organization, and build a sustainable foundation for long-term impact. Funds designated for a specific approved purpose will be used in accordance with that designation whenever possible.

Cali’s Courage Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors responsible for protecting our mission, providing strategic and financial oversight, and ensuring the organization operates ethically and responsibly.  We are committed to transparency as Cali’s Courage Foundation grows. Our IRS determination letter and information about our Board of Directors and governance practices are available upon request. Additional policies and public documents, including our conflict-of-interest and privacy policies, will be added here as they are formally adopted. As a newly established nonprofit, Cali’s Courage Foundation Inc. is building the reporting practices that will guide our work and measure our impact. The following information will be published as it becomes available:

• Annual Reports: Published following the completion of each reporting year
• Financial Statements: Posted after year-end financial reporting is complete
• Form 990 Filings: Posted after they are filed and available for public disclosure
• Program and Impact Updates: Shared as verified results become available

Until sufficient impact data has been collected and verified, we will share our goals, progress, and the steps we are taking to build responsible, sustainable programs.
